Cheryl D. Gill – Executive Director
Cheryl brings more than 20+ years of extensive social service experience to the Executive Director role having served in similar roles at VisionQuest, serving as Chief Administrator, Bethanna, serving as Executive Policy Director, and the Juvenile Justice Center of Philadelphia, serving as Director of multiple programs. During her tenure, Cheryl was responsible for effective evidence-based programs, proactive service-delivery model, managing and developing budgets, and providing and supervising direct intervention/prevention, clinical, and reintegration services to youth and families.
Cheryl has a strong track record of supporting staff members’ professional development, utilizing a trauma-informed care model, and providing drug and alcohol and youth/family therapeutic services. Her experience also includes leading board-level projects, employee relations, and developing high-performing teams.
All told, Cheryl has worked for over two decades in the field. In addition to her extensive background, Cheryl has an MBA and MSM in organizational management from Rosemont College. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in communications, minor in public relations from Temple University, and Cheryl has provided BHRS services in the past as a Mobile Therapist and a Behavioral TSS Specialist. Cheryl has extensive training in addictions, family counseling, and trauma-informed care.
Cheryl has served on several boards including Camp Timber Lake Youth Camp and FAVOR International. Cheryl has served as the Travel Liaison through Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church allowing her to travel abroad to South Africa and provided supportive counseling related to Trauma-Informed Care and Human Trafficking with Teen Challenge.
