Fall 2022 P/T Opening for a School-Based Student Assistance Program:  SAP Counselor:  Up to 5-6 hours per day; 2 to 3 days per week throughout the year to work in Eastern Montgomery County Schools:  Elementary, Middle School & High School.  Masters-level counselors (MA, MSW, MS) needed for 2-3 school days per week to facilitate student emotional regulation groups (12-15 week cycles), to provide short-term 1:1 student support services, to attend SAP Core Team Meetings, to provide consultation to teachers & parents and other Student Assistance Program services.  Flexibility and school day hours availability a must.

Responsibilities to include 1: 1 short-term support, classroom D&A/MH presentations and facilitating small-groups utilizing prevention education D&A/MH curriculum and evidence-based programs.  Prior school-based and/or SAP training or experience strongly preferred.  No benefits.  SAP certification, training and supervision provided.  Looking for experienced, self-starter.  Minimum two-year commitment required.

Part-Time School-Based Prevention Education Specialist

P/T Fall 2022 Opening for a school-based, part-time position this Fall:  2, 3 or up to 4 partial days per week at times throughout the year to start at elementary schools in Eastern Montgomery County.  BA/MA/MSW/MPH counselor, nurse, teacher or health educator needed to work at suburban area elementary schools.  Flexibility and school day hours availability a must for September – June position. Hours, and job requirements and days, will vary throughout the year.

Responsibilities to include: classroom mental health/emotional regulation prevention education lessons utilizing evidence-based prevention education curriculum.  Prior School-Based classroom or counseling experience strongly preferred.
